Equipment you will need:
- Broadband Connection: DSL, cable modem, or other
high-speed Internet connection
- An Ethernet network card
with a RJ45 connector.
- Router (optional):
To share your broadband connection with more than
one device. A router is not necessary if you only
use one computer.
NOTE: If you currently use a USB connection between
your computer and your Cable/DSL modem for your Internet
connection, you will need to upgrade to an Ethernet
connection. This may require you to purchase and install
a Network Interface Card (NIC) for your computer.
